KUALA LUMPUR: The government has decided to extend the Movement Control Order (CPP) until April 14, following the positive case of COVID-19, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said.
The prime minister said the matter was made known to the public in advance to provide the people with a better opportunity for the two-week extension.
“I was briefed by the Ministry of Health and the National Security Council that the current pattern of new COVID-19 positive cases is still happening.
“This pattern is expected to continue for some time before new cases begin to decline. This demands that the government continue the CPP for a longer period, ”he said in a special message today.
